Pre-Tryout Warmup:

Indoor pre-tryout warm up sessions will be included with your tryout fee and are scheduled for

Saturday April 1, Sunday April 9 , 15, 22nd

U13 - 2-3pm

U15 - 3-4pm

U19 - 4-5pm

Tryouts:

Practices:

Indoor team practices will be scheduled post tryouts on some or all Saturdays in late April and early May

Outdoor practices will commence the week of Monday May 8th at White Oaks Highschool North Campus Grass Fields, 1055 McCraney Street E, Oakville

U13 Practice Nights - Tuesday and Thursday

U15 and U19 Practice Nights - Monday and Thursday

Optional extra skills practice for all age groups Wednesday nights - extra fee

Please do not double book yourself on practice nights in accordance with our typical commitment requirements. If you anticipate conflicts that you would like to discuss please do not hesitate to contact us directly in advance of tryouts @ ladyhawkshl@oakvillelacrosse.com

Cost:

$100 tryout fee - includes 4 pre-tryout warmup sessions plus 2 tryouts and Ontario Lacrosse Association annual insurance and fees. Payment of the tryout fee is paid via credit card registration system and is non-refundable.

Additional season costs will be assessed on a team basis - in a typical year the rep fees have been in the range of $900 for the season.

Season:

Rep teams compete against other centres in Southern Ontario in the Ontario Womens Field Lacrosse (OWFL) league. OWFL games begin in late May and conclude in late July. Games are played mainly on weekends throughout Southern Ontario however some age groups may have mid week games. There will be no games on the July 1st long weekend.

*** Please note the JEWL U19 Team will have a separate schedule that will begin with the warmup on the May 20/21 weekend - league games will be played each week on Tuesday or Fridays plus Sunday June 18th and Sunday July 9th (subject to change)***

Equipment:

Girls Field Lacrosse Stick, Girls Field Lacrosse Eye Goggles, Running Shoes, Mouthguard (Girls Field Lacrosse Sticks and Goggles are available at the Rock Lax Shop located in the Toronto Rock Athletic Centre)
