Patrick Merrill is the 2015 Oakville Minor Lacrosse Paperweight Coach, the 2015 OLA Junior A Coach of the Six Nations Arrows, the Toronto Rock first overall draft pick and Athletic Director at The Hill Academy.

Patrick Merrill is known for his tenacious defensive play. A graduate of Mercyhurst College, Patrick was a first overall draft pick by the Toronto Rock of the NLL where he currently plays for. He has won three National League  Championships, and three Mann Cup Championships. In 2010, he represented Team Canada and won a  Silver medal at the World Field Lacrosse Championsips in Manchester, England. In 2011, he represented  Team Canada and brought home the Gold at the FIL World Indoor Lacrosse Championships in Prague, Czech  Republic.

Patrick is a key member of The Hill Lacrosse program where he instils discipline and continues to push the  players to new heights. He is going into his ninth season at the Hill and always demands hard work out of his players.

Coach Paddy led the 2015 Oakville Hawks Paperweight team to an undefeated season, finishing 24-0. In 2014, his Peewee 1 team won Gold at the Provincials, which was the first A Championship for Oakville since 2002 - the year most of those players were born.  He also led the Six Nations Arrows captured the second straight Minto Cup in 2015.
