Hello Hawks.  I was not fortunate to see the games on Saturday but what I did see was a wonderful team of kids and parents celebrating an amazing tournament championship.  What I know is that kids can play on great teams for their whole careers and never win that championship game and earn that champion feeling.  You should be so proud.  That was something you will never forget.

After all the families had gone home last night I sat with Coach Jason by the fire for an hour and listened to him talk about each and every one of you.  He was animated with  praise for each of you as individuals.  He described the essence of each of you as you have grown and matured over this lacrosse season.  I saw a Coach so proud of his team and what you have accomplished  so far.  At the end of any season in sport you have to ask yourself these questions..... Did I play hard?  Did I become a better player?  Did I become a better team member?   Did I have fun?  I think everyone can answer those questions with a big YES!....  and...... we are only half way through the season!   It can only get better Hawks!    YOU KNOW!!!!
