As a fairly new league, and despite our rapid growth, we still require at this point in time, our rep players to play in their respective house league divisions for Under 11, Under 13 and Under 15 age players. This will enable a viable house league which feeds into the rep program as well as offering our rep players an additional day of practice with their sticks in their hands. If however, the number of registrations in a division exceeds our projected numbers, we will revisit the possibility of a separate house league and rep team for that division.
As with other rep sports, to play on a rep team, a family needs to consider the level of commitment they can offer the team and take this into careful consideration before trying out and potentially taking a spot from a more committed player. We ask that once you commit to the team, that lacrosse doesn't become second to another sport the family has chosen to have their daughter involved in. Remember also, that lacrosse provides great off-season conditioning, develops key skills for other sports, and works different muscles providing all-around conditioning. Please review the information below as well as the individual rep team pages (use the blue navigation buttons to your left) to help you make this decision.
Below, you will find two useful charts. One is the Tentative Weekend location schedule for rep games and the second chart is the Oakville Lady Hawks 2012 Season practice schedule for house league and rep teams. Play will begin the week of April 30th and run through to the last week of June for House League, with rep play continuing through to provincials in August. For more information on the respective rep teams, please visit the individual rep team pages.
This year, Rep Fees will be assessed to each rep team shortly after tryouts. The fee will help to cover the costs of:
Reimbursements will be made if the initial rep fee exceeds actual budget.
Tentative Rep Assessment Fee Structure:
** The supplier has yet to confirm our costs, but a REP KIT will be purchased by each rep player consisting of a reversible pinnie and socks. We are estimating that the cost of this kit will be approximate $60.00.
** Players new to the rep program will be asked to purchase a BRINE Lady Hawks stick bag so as to maintain a "uniform" look amongst teams, and one that represents Oakville Lady Hawks Field Lacrosse.

U19...a team to watch!
The U19 Lady Hawks Lacrosse team was an addition to the Oakville program this year. This team has a small but mighty roster with young women with heart and a passion for learning about lacrosse - and they had fun while doing so!
Coached by Jackie Noble, this group came together as a team at the declaration deadline...but as they say...better late than never! We are so happy with the growth and development of this young team, watching as they closed the gap on their opponents throughout their inaugural season. This is a team to watch as they continue to grow and develop through the years!
Thank you to Jackie and the team managers for their hard work and dedication to building this team this year. We are lucky to have you as part of the Lady Hawks family.
A hearty congratulations goes to the coaching staff and players of the U15 team who fought hard and progressed well during the season to capture the Bronze Medal in the B division at provincials! Way to go!
The bronze medal is a testament to this team's hard work and development this season. We can't wait to see how this team progresses next year for the 2012 season!
The U15 team is coached by Laura McLaughlin, Darlene Zolis and Sean Doyle.

U13 climbs to the A division for 2011 provincials
The 2011 U13 Lady Hawks team improved upon their previous best last year and had a successful regular season with growth and development. Their season's success landed the team in the A division for provincials - a tough spot to be, but a testament to their growth and hard work.
U13s fought hard in a competitive pool against Orillia and Oshawa. Although they lost both games, they never let the other teams get into the double digits and made winning a challenge.
Congratulations to the team staff and players for a successful year. We look forward to seeing the impact that this team has on the U13 division in their major year in 2012!
The Under 11 Lady Hawks rep lacrosse team fought their way to the bronze medal game at Provincials on the July 9th and 10th weekend in Burlington.
Coaches Crystal Robinson and Alyse Newsome couldn't be happier with the development of their team over the course of the season and in the heat of the weekend, they gave it their very best, losing to Mimico in the bronze medal game.
The Oakville Lady Hawks lacrosse club would like to thank the coaches, trainer, manager and most of all the players of the Under 11 team for their fabulous efforts this season. We are so proud of how far you have come and are looking forward to seeing your continued development in the future.
